Max

Title: Max
Series: Maximum Ride
Author: James Patterson
Year of Publication: 2009

Genre: SciFi, Adventure

My Rating: 3 out of 5

The fifth adventure of bird kid Maximum Ride and her flock is based around the kidnapping of her veterinarian mother, Valencia Martinez. Max's mother is kidnapped due to her involvement and co-founding of a pro-environment and awareness party. With the assistance of the US Navy, Max and the flock rescue her mother from the depths of the ocean.

The usual 'bots (M-Geeks in this one), megalomaniacal dudes and the defying of adults and authorities continue to feature in the fifth instalment. And some Max/Fang stuff too.

Not as much world saving things in this one, but still worth reading.

  2. Nice blog! :)

I loved that book! It wasn't as good as the others, but I still liked it. Have you heard about the sixth one? There'a a synopsis on Wikipedia, but last I checked there wasn't anything about it on James's site.

  4. I've heard rumours about the sixth one:

Now I know it's just a rumour but I copied and pasted right off this site:

Check it out for yourself, see what you think-

Personally, if Fang dies, I'll cry myself to sleep for weeks!

  5. Fang dead? Oh well, I'm not much of a fan of his. Though I can understand how those who like Fang must feel. Kinda like killing Edward Cullen off.
