In this series of books, the reader follows and decides for a character named Hayley- a red headed American high school junior. You start off with a small scene part of Hayley’s life and from then on you are required to choose Hayley’s destiny at the end of each chapter. In this particular What if... Hayley’s past comes back to haunt her when an embarrassing family home video ends up online for her whole high school to see, with many other unsavoury videos of her fellow female peers. If you continue to make the right decisions, then you will successfully finish the novel. And if not...well, you’re asked to start back at page one.

I didn’t really expect this novel to be the ‘choose your destiny’ type when I first got it. Easily finished in an hour, the What if... series are a fun way to spend time and also to see if you ever had to make real life decisions on a serious situation, would you end up on the better hand. I look forward to trying out another book from this series.
