It’s World War II and a pair of siblings and a French runaway from the country, all orphaned, join forces with Charles Henderson, a spy for the British. Along the way they meet and join a cabin boy from America with a shady past and a sophisticated clerical assistant for the British in Bordeaux, France. Following the lead of Henderson, Rosie, Paul, Marc, PT and Maxine make their way up north to the coastal region of France, where the presence of German occupancy is heavy. Under the guise of returning peasant French farmers, the group provide intelligence on Hitler’s plans for the invasion of Britain. By September 9th, 1940, the group successfully aid the Royal Air Force in the hindering of Germany’s invasion of Britain by sea.

I love CHERUB, and I love Henderson’s Boys. Despite the fact it’s set 60 odd years back in time, there is enough action and excitement going on to fuel a few V8 Supercars!

  1. I really want to read Henderson's Boys (not to mention the rest of the Cherub series), but they weren't released in the US. It's so annoying! They published the first six books of Cherub here, but they won't give us the rest! >:(
